Maria Sroka, 76, of Clifton, passed away on November 9, 2020. Born in Czarny Dunajec, Poland, she came to the US in 1972 and settled in Clifton.

A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Maria worked for Mario's Restaurant, Clifton, for many years, and later for Dikeman Laminating Corp., Clifton for 15 years, before retiring. Maria loved children and watched them over the years after retirement to keep herself busy.

Beloved wife for 55 years of Jozef. Devoted mother of Zofia Spagnuolo and her husband Michael of Nutley, Anna Toops and her fiance Richard Leitner of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Jaclyn and Michael Spagnuolo, Jr., and Nicholas Leitner. Loving daughter of the late Jozef and Anna Staszel. Dear sister of Zofia Podczerwinska and her late husband Andrzej, Stanislawa Szaflarska and her husband Jozef, and the late Janina Budzyn and her late husband Andrzej, and the late Jas and Tadeusz Staszel. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
