Maria Safes (Lenner), 99, of Fair Lawn passed away on August 5, 2026. Born in Sume, Ukraine, she traveled to the US and settled in Fair Lawn. Maria worked as a machine operator for Nabisco, Fair Lawn, for 30 years before retiring. Maria enjoyed cooking and loved gardening.

Beloved wife of the late Sulf Safes who passed away in 1981. She will be greatly missed by three special caregivers Anna, Luba and Nada.
