Maria E. Martinez, 78, of Garfield, passed away on November 4, 2023.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1964 and lived in Passaic before moving to Garfield. Maria was a manager for Hallmark in Passaic, where she worked for many years, retiring 15 years ago.

Beloved mother of Luis M. Martinez, Carlos M. Martinez, Janet Longo, Jeffrey Martinez and Stacey A. Santana. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Catalina, Frank, Elsie, Nellie, Maria, Carmen, Nelson, Hector, Peter, Aida and Jose Torres and Martha.

Visiting Saturday, November 11, 2023, 2-4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Prayer Service will begin at 3 PM. Cremation will be private.
