Maria C. Horta (Martinez), 90, of Paterson passed away on July 8, 2020. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Maria moved to the Bronx in the 1950's and has lived in Paterson since 1963. She was a Health Aide for Visiting Health Services in Totowa for many years.

Devoted mother of Gladys Perez of Naples, FL, Almanidia Ramirez of Paterson, Carmen Rosado of Lehigh Acres, FL, and the late Luis Perez who passed away in 2006. Cherished grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 22 and great-great grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Gladys Kemp Williams and Santiago Cintron. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visiting Tuesday 9-11AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A prayer service will be held during the visitation. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
