Maria Cartagena-Molner, 54, of Clifton, passed away on August 20, 2021. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1968 and lived in Newark before moving to Clifton 30 years ago. A Registered Nurse for Pulse Ambulance in Totowa, Maria enjoyed television documentaries and was very interested in genealogy.

Maria was a kind and generous individual, whose life was devoted to her passion of serving people. She began at the age of 12 as a Candy Striper at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. She became an Emergency Medical Technician and spent 12 years working with EMTAC, Irvington EMS and UMDNJ Newark EMS. She returned to college in pursuit of becoming a Registered Nurse. For the next 20 years, Maria applied her skills as a registered nurse to better the community of Passaic County, working as an emergency room nurse at St Mary's Hospital, where she touched the lives of many.

Beloved wife of Dennis Molner. Devoted mother of Kasey Molner. Loving daughter of Feliciano Cartagena and Ramona (Barrios). Dear sister of Janett Riggs, Felicita Rodriguez and Joan Cartagena.

Memorial Gathering, Wednesday 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM, at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
