Maria del Carmen (Colon) Lalama, 71, of Clifton passed away on November 5, 2016. Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Maria moved to Paterson in 1968 and lived there before settling in Clifton in 1995. Maria was a Phlebotomist at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, for 18 years before retiring in 2006.

Loving companion of Crescenzo. Beloved mother of Alberto and his wife Evelyn of Clifton, Ricardo of Clifton, Renaldo of Minneapolis, MN, and Rosabella of Nutley. Cherished grandmother of Luke, Rosalina, Isabella, Issam, Nidal and Jaysean. Dear sister of Bertin, Santito, Cando and Isa Colon, all of Puerto Rico, and Tacio Colon of NY.

Funeral Wednesday 8:45AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10AM at St. Paul's RC Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home.
