Maria (Klapacz) Baka, 87, of Lincoln Park passed away on January 9, 2023. Born in Maniowy, Poland, she traveled to the US in 1971 and lived in Passaic then Wallington before settling in Lincoln Park in 1983. Maria worked for the American Biscuit Co., Passaic, for many years and later worked as a trimmer for Dexter's Knitting Mills, Wallington, before retiring in 1984. She loved gardening and crocheting.

Beloved wife of the late Jozef Baka who passed away in 2013. Devoted mother of Wladyslaw Baka and his wife Sabina of Bloomingdale, Anna Makowski and her husband Tadeusz of Carlstadt, Krystyna Plewa and her husband Walter of Kinnelon. Loving grandmother of Joanna, Adam, Stanley and his wife Christine, Basia and her husband Patrick, Kathryn and her husband Matthew, Margaret and her husband Joey, Krysia and her husband Steve and Renia. Cherished great-grandmother of Haydyn, Carson, Hudson, Jacen, Julianna, Alina, Luke, Lilyana, Paityn, Raylynn, Jackson and Sylas.

Visiting Wednesday 4 – 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Thursday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Wallington. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
