Maria (Gorzelany) Augustyn, 90, of Clifton, passed away on August 28, 2015. Born in Kolbuszowa Gorna, Poland, she came to the US in 1964 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1976. A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Maria was a Machine Operator for Greensleeves, Inc. in Passaic for many years, retiring in 1975. Beloved wife of the late Jan who passed away in 1999. Devoted mother of Stanislawa DeMatos of Elizabeth, Helen Augustyn of Clifton, and Roman Augustyn of W. Redding, CT. Loving grandmother of Joann and Annabelle. Dear sister of Stefan Gorzelany of Kinnelon and Helen Makuch of Poland. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
