Margaret "Peggy" Elise (Ireland) Van Brookhoven, 90, of Clifton, passed away on October 16, 2014. Born in Freehold, she lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton many years ago. A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Peggy was in the Signal Corp during WW II and later worked for Weston Biscuit in Passaic for several years. A wonderful homemaker for a good portion of her life, Peggy worked part time for Shop Rite in Passaic for 20 years, retiring in 1990, and enjoyed Ballroom Dancing during the 70's, 80's and 90's. Devoted wife of the late George Lester Van Brookhoven who passed away in 2007. Beloved mother of Brenda Fox and her husband Richard of Washington Township., and Les and his wife Maureen of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Kendall and Tyler, cherished great grandmother of Melody Margaret Fox. Peggy was predeceased by her five sisters.
