Margaret Sypniewski, 77, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026. Born in Łódź, Poland, she came to the U.S. in 1975 and settled in Clifton where she lived for the rest of her years.

Beloved wife of over fifty years to William Sypniewski. Devoted mother of Jason Sypniewski and his wife Lauren (Machovic). Of all her titles, her most recent and favorite was as cherished “Babcia” to her granddaughters Avery and Emilia. Devoted sister of Jan Kacprzak and his wife Elżbieta (Strzalkowska). Loving aunt to Stanisław and Maria Kacprzak, and Lucas and Savannah Monk. She is preceded in death by her father Stanisław Kacprzak and her mother Henryka Kacprzak (Prorok).

Beyond her immediate family she is remembered fondly by countless friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. She will be remembered for her gentle kindness, overwhelming generosity, deep compassion, and unwavering strength which guided her throughout her life and never faltered even against the most challenging obstacles. Her selfless love, devotion and grace will continue to inspire her family and friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11AM, Saturday July 18th at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Cremation was private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
