Manrajie (Sanchari) Bhagwant, 85, of Clifton, passed away on May 7, 2014. Born in Guyana, South America, she came to the US in 1991 and lived in Bronx, NY, before moving to Clifton in 1997. Manrajie, a homemaker, enjoyed music, taking walks and spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Whardia Maystry who passed away in 1986. Devoted mother of Deowattie Bhowanlal and her husband Thakoordial, Chandai Ramdas and her husband Satianand, Parbattie Ramnarine and her husband Chetram, Hermant Maystry and his wife Patricia, Goinda Maystry and his wife Mayo, Ram sammy Maystry and his wife Malin, Annasamy, Abboy and Teletoma Maystry. Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Kenneth Mangar, Willie, and Charlie Balram. Funeral Saturday 7:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday and Friday 7-10 PM at the funeral home.
