Magdalena Mercedes, 51, of New York City, passed away on April 15, 2016. Born in Isabella, Puerto Rico, she lived in Bronx, NY, Newark, NJ, and West Palm Beach, FL, before moving to Manhattan in 2005.
Devoted mother of the late Samuel Mercedes, who passed away in 2011. Beloved daughter of Iluminada (Martinez) and the late Victor Monroig. Dear sister of Migdalia Castro and Marisol Morales of West Palm Beach, FL, Anibal Monroig of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Alcides Monroig and Victor Monroig, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL.
Funeral Wednesday 12 Noon at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday morning 9 AM to 12 Noon.
