Madelene Poleon, 85, of Passaic passed away on May 29, 2024. Born in Soufriere, St. Lucia, she lived in St. Thomas before traveling to the US in 1984 and first lived in Lodi before settling in Passaic over 20 years ago. Madelene worked as a health care aid for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, for 20 years before retiring.

Devoted mother of Cassius Frederick Auguste and his wife Elizabeth. Cherished grandmother of Janelle and Katherine Auguste. Dear sister of Lawrence Octave and Joan Auguste. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Friday, June 7, from 2 – 4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Cremation will be private.
