Lydia "Rosa" (Lopez) Olivero, 80, of Passaic, passed away on September 23, 2015. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she lived there before moving to Passaic in 1967. Rosa, a homemaker, was a parishioner of St. Nicholas' RC Church, Passaic. Beloved wife for 45 years of Francisco. Devoted mother of Carmen Nieves and her husband Pedro, Jose Mercado and his wife Marta, Sonia Martinez and her husband Pablo, Maribel Martinez and her husband Angel, Migdalia Martinez, Martin Olivero and his wife Margery, and Richard Olivero. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
