Luis F. Fonque, 78, of Clifton, passed away on March 4, 2014. Born in Colombia, he came to the US in 1989 and lived in Wayne and Paterson before moving to Clifton in 2006. Luis was a parishioner of St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Beloved husband of Tircia Aurora (Silva). Devoted father of Aura Fonque and her husband Luis Montenegro of Paterson, Sonia Fonque of Clifton, Jhon Fonque and his wife Gloria Vallejo-Fonque of Bogota, and Diana Fonque-Lepiani and her husband Giovanni Lepiani. Loving grandfather of Jhonathan, Michael, Michelle, Kevin, Tiffany and Alani. Dear brother of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, all in Colombia. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, Visiting Friday 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
