Lucy (DiCarlo) Mecca, 83, of Wayne, passed away on February 7, 2016. Born in Union, she lived in Irvington, Passaic and Totowa before moving to Wayne several years ago.

A former parishioner of St. James of the Marches RC Church, Totowa, Lucy was a member of the Rosary Society, The Totowa Seniors, and served as the Treasurer at Sisco Village in Wayne. Lucy was a Banker for PNC Bank in Passaic, where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 1990.

Beloved wife of the late James who passed away in 1997. Devoted mother of Debra Farino and her husband Sal of Clifton, Thomas Mecca and his wife Leslie of Butler, and James Mecca of Howell. Loving grandmother of Lindsay, Ryan, Sal and Michael. Cherished great grandmother of Trevor. Dear sister of Shirley Pupa of Ocala, FL.

Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
