Louis DeLeon, 86, of Clifton passed away on December 5, 2023.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Lou came to the US in 1943 and first settled in NYC before moving to Clifton 54 years ago. A US Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton, and worked as a Chemical Operator for Hoffmann LaRoche for 30 years before retiring in 1990. He had a love for life, his family, traveling, dancing, and family gatherings.

Beloved husband for 62 years of Patricia (Herzog). Devoted father of Theresa Marie Harrison of Flanders and Louis DeLeon of Morristown. Cherished grandfather of Louis P., Charlotte, Thomas and Brett. Dear brother of Carmen Gonzalez of Florida, Carlos DeLeon of Clifton, and the late Victor and Manuel DeLeon.

Visiting Thursday, December 7, 2023, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, December 8, 2023, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
