Loretta M. Cammaroto's Obituary
Loretta M. (Meli) Cammaroto, 82, of Clifton, passed away on February 6, 2017. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton in 1970.
A parishioner of St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton, Loretta was a Eucharistic Minister for many years and was a member of AARP Chapter #1995, where she was the Chairperson for the Dinner and Health Committees. Loretta enjoyed bowling and was active with the Senior League at Garden Palace, Clifton.
Before retiring after over 21 years of service, Loretta was Senior Cashier for NJ State Judiciary Finance at the Passaic County Probation Court, Paterson. Loretta had also worked for 10 years in Accounts Payable for Vornado, Inc. (Two Guys), Garfield.
Beloved wife of the late Dominick who passed away in 2002. Devoted mother of Paul F. Cimillo and his wife Kristin of Hawthorne. Linda Centinaro and her husband Sebastian of Clifton, and Charles Cammaroto of Escondido, CA. Loving grandmother of Joseph, Scott, Haley and Kelsey. Dear sister of Anthony Meli of Little River, SC, and Evelyn Fierro of Tinton Falls.
Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
If desired, donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105, in memory of Loretta, would be greatly appreciated.
