Lina (Sabbatini) Tacchi, 91, of Clifton, passed away on August 4, 2015. Born in Branca P. Perugia, Italy, Lina moved to the US in 1961 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton shortly thereafter. Lina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an exceptional cook and gardener. Lina enjoyed entertaining and loved when her home was filled with company - many guests were often treated to her delicious meals. Her laughter, singing and joyous spirit will always be remembered. Beloved wife of the late Argante Tacchi who passed away in 2011. Devoted mother of Aldo Tacchi and his wife Anna, Orietta DiGennaro and her late husband Anthony, and Donna Tacchi and her husband William Kenny. Cherished grandmother of Mark DiGennaro and his wife Monia, Elisa Tacchi and her husband Stefano Casoli, Laura and Christina Tacchi, Matthew and Daniel Kenny and the late Paul Michael DiGennaro. Adored great-grandmother of Alessia and Isabel DiGennaro and Giulia Casoli. Funeral Wednesday 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, 49 Speer Avenue, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
