Lillian A. (Golomb) Opalinski, 97, of Fairfield, passed away on March 9, 2017. Born in Passaic, she lived in East Rutherford and
Wallington
before moving to Fairfield in 2006.
A parishioner of St. Thomas More Church, Fairfield, Lillian and her late husband owned Michael's Foods in East Rutherford for 35 years, retiring in 1994.
Beloved wife of the late Michael who passed away in 2005. Devoted mother of Linda Pangione and her husband Charles of Stockholm, and Janice Yancek of Fairfield. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Brian Pangione, Scott and Kevin Yancek . Cherished great grandmother of Michael, Joseph, Angelo, Alexander, and a fifth great grandchild due in June.
Funeral Monday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Fairfield. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack . Visiting Sunday 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
