Leopoldo Rosa, 74, of Newark, passed away on September 28, 2015. Born in Puerto Rico, he lived there before moving to Newark in 1980. A self employed Construction Worker for many years, Leopoldo was a member of Paradise Church, Newark. A member of Casa de Israel. Leopoldo enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of Luz Maria (Avila). Devoted father of Leopoldo and Roberto Rosa, Miquel and Angel Galarza, Leonel Rosa, Ruth Gonzalez and Emmanuel Rosa. Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of Carmen Milagros Rosa, Olga Maria Rosa, Emma Rosa and Roberto Rosa. Funeral Friday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
