Leonor M. Lieberman's Obituary
Leonor M. (Rivera) Lieberman, 77, of Wayne, passed away on November 30, 2016. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she lived in Bronx, NY, and Passaic before moving to Wayne several years ago.
A former parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Leonor was a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Morris Okun, Inc., in Bronx, for 22 years. For the past 12 years, Leonor has worked for the Wayne Board of Education with the After Care Program for Pines Lake Elementary School.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert Lieberman. Devoted mother of Denise Kennedy and her husband Antonino Giaconia of Wayne, and Vivian Delgado of Wayne. Loving grandmother of Lauren Arroyo Gomes and her husband Michael of North Arlington, Keirstan Nevin and her husband Brian of Verona, and Sean Kennedy. Cherished great grandmother of Marco Henry Manuel Gomes. Dear sister of Jose Luis and his wife Provi of Wesley Chapel, FL, and the late Monserrate and Josephine Rivera.
Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Visiting Monday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
If desired, donations made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, in memory of Leonor would be greatly appreciated.
