Leonard Passenti, 78, of Barnegat, formerly of Clifton, passed away on November 30, 2024. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton before moving to Barnegat in 1999.

A former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Leonard was a US Army Veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. A Firefighter for the Clifton Fire Department for 30 years, retiring in 1998, Leonard enjoyed playing golf and working on cars, and was the owner of Complete Inspection Service in Lodi for many years.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Leitner) Passenti. Devoted father of Lt. Gary Passenti, CPD and his wife Denise, and Glen Passenti. Loving grandfather of Alexa and Erica. Dear brother of the late Anthony, Patrick and Richard Passenti.

Visiting Thursday, December 5, 2024, 3-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, December 6, 2024, 9:45 AM at the funeral home and 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Cremation will be private.
