Leonard J. Bubrowski's Obituary
Leonard J. Bubrowski, 94, of Clifton, passed away on April 17, 2018. Born in Hazleton, PA, he has been a resident of Clifton for over 65 years.
An active parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Leonard served as an Usher for many years, and was a former Cub Scout Leader. A graduate of Hazleton Sr. High School, Class of 1941, Leonard served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and was a tool and die maker for Tungsol Electric in Bloomfield and Permanent Label in Clifton for many years.
Beloved husband for 68 years of the late Mary who passed away in 2016. Devoted father of Lenny and his wife Linda of Sunbury, PA, and Nancy Bubrowski of Jersey City. Loving grandfather of Dana Maroldi. Cherished son of the late Peter and Marianna (Burowski) Bubrowski. Dear brother of the late Richard, Peter, Alex and Lawrence.
Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Friday 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to either St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, or the St. Andrew's Youth Group, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton, NJ 07012, in memory of Leonard, would be greatly appreciated.
