Lelita Linaac Gala, 80, of Woodland Park, peacefully passed away on June 24, 2025. Born in the Philippines, she immigrated to the US in 2008 and settled in Woodland Park. She worked as a teacher for the Department of Education in the Philippines for 37 years before retiring in the US to be with her daughters.

Lelita was a beloved wife of the late Tirsito Gala, Sr.. She was a devoted mother of Jacqueline Collins, Tirsito Gala, Jr., Alen Gala, Persia Gala, and Iraquel Gala. She is also a cherished grandmother of Blake and Abbygail Collins, Trisha Gala, Tyler Bryce Gala, and Christian James Gala.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 5, at 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 797 Valley Rd., Clifton, NJ 07013.
