Lauren Van Hook, 67, of Clifton passed away on June 10, 2022. Born in Passaic, Lauren has been a resident of Clifton, New Jersey all of her life. In her earlier years she was a talented artist who loved drawing, painting, and working with stained glass.  She was known for her excellent cooking and loved to prepare delicious meals for everyone, especially during the holidays. Lauren adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Devoted mother of Brian Besthorne and his wife Ana of Hopatcong, Dr. Monica Carrero of Bloomfield, Kyle Udvarhely of Andover and the late Bryanna Besthorne who passed away in 2017. Cherished grandmother of Dwight "Trey", Jace, Alexa, Andrew, Aiden, Holden, Arianna and Jalen. Dear sister of Glenn, Doug and Craig Van Hook.  She will be greatly missed by many including her children and grandchildren, but her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of family and friends.
