Laura Ann (Scott) Kacmarcik, 65, of Clifton passed away on December 20, 2022. Born in North Bergen, Laura was raised in Bergenfield and has been a resident of Clifton for over 35 years. Laura earned her bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and later went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University, Newark, where she was a member of the second class of women ever to graduate with a Juris Doctorate. Throughout her career she worked at various law firms and also for J. Jill and Hallmark in various capacities.

Laura enjoyed shopping and self-care days and loved spending time down the shore riding her bike in Lavalette and Ocean Beach. She was an avid NY Giants fan who loved to travel and spend time visiting family in Arizona. She was a great gardener who adored her pets, especially her dog Tea and her grand-dogs Pumpkin & Eddie. She could dance, cook and sing, and was a soloist in the choir at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton.  She always wanted to try new things and took care of her family until the end. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of Thomas Kacmarcik of Clifton. Devoted mother of Alexandra Scerbak and her husband Josh Malia of Glendale, AZ, and Karlee Kacmarcik of Clifton. Dear step-daughter of Lon Kirkland of Mesa, AZ. Loving sister of Joanna Robertson of Newport Beach, CA, and Tony Scott of Mesa, AZ. Aunt of 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Cremation was private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.
