Laszlo Karoly, 90, of Clifton, passed away on January 1, 2012. Born in Hungary, he came to the US in December of 1949 and settled in Pittsburgh and had been a resident of Passaic before moving to Clifton 26 years ago. A parishioner of St. Stephen RC Magyar Church, Passaic, Laszlo ran the Bingo, was a member of the Holy Name Society, served as a Trustee, and had been active with the Hungarian Scouts. A Draftsman by trade, Laszlo worked for Parvin Engineering in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1986. Beloved husband for 60 years of Agnes (Kudriczy). Devoted father of Agnes Darley and her husband Thomas of Clifton, and Suzanne Sulick and her husband Michael of Elmwood Park. Loving grandfather of Jason, Shannon, Michael, III, and Shelby. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Cremation will be private. Visiting Thursday 6-9 PM.
