Larry Allen Mintzer, 71, of Parsippany, went home on August 13, 2024. Born in Passaic on August 12, 1953, to David and Muriel (Appel) Mintzer, he resided at the ARC of Morris Lake Parsippany Group Home, Parsippany.

Devoted brother of Iris "Bobbie" Mintzer. Larry is survived by his niece Monique Frasco and her husband Jeff, his great-nephew Justin, his uncle Harold Appel and his wife Andrea, many cousins, his housemates at Lake Parsippany Group Home, and the ARC of Morris Group.

Larry loved listening to WCBS FM 101.1, and Rocked It! He had a personality that lit up a room, with his sweet smile. He was respectable by always shaking hands with everyone he met, and had a great sense of humor.

Visiting Friday, August 16, 2024, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday, August 17, 2024, 8:45 AM at the funeral home, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Cremation will be private.
