Lakisha V. Prophet, 48, of Clifton passed away on August 24, 2026. Born in Paterson, she has lived in Clifton for over 20 years.

Beloved daughter of Deborah Laird and her husband Nathaniel, and the late Alvin Bradley. Cherished sister of Kimberly Laird and sister-in-law of James Allen. Loving aunt of Raine, Rock and River Allen. Adored niece of Sharlene Rogers, David Rogers and his wife Chantel, Lois Hogans, and Deborah Laird. Dear cousin of Ricky Rogers, Danson Rogers, Stuart Rogers, David Rogers, his wife, Stella, and their son, Caleb, Taliya Rogers, Andrea Laird, Shayla Laird and her daughter, Kierra, Adrian Bryant, and Dante Moore and his son, Jahzier. Kisha will be dearly missed by her large extended family and many friends.

Visiting Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 1-3PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.

Kisha is a bright light that can never be diminished, so she will shine in our hearts forever. Thank You for celebrating Kisha’s homegoing. Gone, but never forgotten.
