In Loving Memory of Kokila Patel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kokila Patel, 71, of East Rutherford, NJ. Kokila peacefully left us on March 14, 2025. She was born on November 1, 1953, in Gada, Gujarat, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion.

Kokila was the beloved wife of Jagdish Patel for 48 years. She was a cherished mother to her daughters Bhavna and Avni, and an adoring mother-in-law to Amish and Sarvang. She was the proud grandmother of Sanaya, Shreya, Shivan, Neesa, and Nayva, and her presence in their lives was one of endless affection and support.

Throughout her life, Kokila was known for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to her family. She had a deep love for her cultural heritage and was a guiding force in the lives of those who knew her. Kokila's kindness, compassion, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will hold a funeral service from 9-11AM on March 16, 2025 at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton to celebrate her life. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton

Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
