Kirit Chimanlal Patel, 75, of Clifton passed away on September 2, 2026. Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, Kirit came to the US in 1984 and settled in Westchester County before moving to Clifton in 1990. He was an electrical technician for New Jersey Transit for 15 years before retiring. 

Beloved husband for 44 years of Anjana Patel. Devoted father of Pushan Patel and his wife Esther Ramirez-Patel. Cherished grandfather of Hana Patel. Dear brother of Nayana Patel, Rajesh Patel, and the late Bharati Thakkar.

Visiting and Puja services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 9-11AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton.
