Obituary

Kathleen Joan Slocum, 80, of Randolph, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 29, 2026.

Born in Passaic, she grew up in Clifton, later moving to Blairstown where she designed her own home and raised her loving family of five sons. A 2002 Graduate of New York Law School, Kathleen enjoyed classical music and was an aficionado of classic films. An excellent chef, Kathleen enjoyed hosting family dinners inspired by her travels, spending time with her eight loving grandchildren, and mastering new techniques in knitting, weaving, and other fabric arts.

Beloved mother of Michael and his wife Olga, David and his wife Ivana, Thomas and his wife Hilary, Peter and his wife Serom, and Stephen.
Loving grandmother of Emily, Eleanor, Henry, Charlotte, Daniel, Andrew, Jason, and Catherine. Dear sister of John Kazmark.

Visiting is private at the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton, after which Kathleen will be laid to her final rest in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.

There will be a Mass of Remembrance, open to the public, on Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 am, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bernardsville.
