Karolina (Biesik) Dabal, 87, of Clifton passed away on December 1, 2012. Born in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, Karolina came to the US in 1966 and first settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1972. Karolina was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church, Passaic, and worked as a Machine Operator for Bomont Industries, Totowa, for many years. Devoted wife of the late Walter Dabal. Beloved mother of Halina "Ewa" Daszczyszak and her husband Richard of Clifton, Sophie Wilk of Clifton, Viola Ligas and her husband Jacob of Wallington, Krystyna Kopec of Clifton and the late William "Ziggy" Dabal, Sylvester "Sly" Dabal and Jozef Dabal. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren. Adored great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Apolonia Nedrala of Poland. Funeral Wednesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10 AM at St. Joseph RC Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
