Juventino Lavandero, 88, of Wayne, passed away on January 19, 2015. Born in Cuba, he came to the US in 1970 and lived in Passaic and Rochelle Park before moving to Wayne several years ago. Juventino worked in the Shipping Department of Gramercy Mills in Passaic for 17 years, retiring many years ago. Beloved husband for 63 years of Pura (Borroti). Devoted father of Pura Valdes and her husband Noel of Wayne. Loving grandfather of Noriel and Eric. Dear brother of Eva Lavandero of Miami. Funeral Friday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Garden of Memories, Township of Washington. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
