June (Maat) McLendon, 80, of Clifton, passed away on January 23, 2015. Born in Passaic, she lived most of her life in Clifton. June was a Patient Accounts Representative for Hackensack Medical Center for 20 years, retiring in 1996. Beloved wife of the late Robert who passed away in 1992. Devoted mother of Sharon McLendon of Clifton, and the late Sheryl Stagg who passed away in 2005. Loving grandmother of Ryder Stagg, Cristi Carlson and Kelsey Jordan. Cherished great grandmother of Cassidy Ledin, Savannah Stagg, and Gaige Carlson. Dear sister of Dorothy Moskowitz who passed away in 2005, and Robert Maat who passed away in 2013. Funeral Thursday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
