Julie (Potera) Rater, 96, of Clifton passed away on November 3, 2021. Born in Dupont, PA, she lived in Passaic before settling in Clifton in 1973. A devoted parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Julie worked as a book binder for A. Horowitz & Son, Clifton, for over 20 years before retiring. Julie was a proud member of Clifton Senior Citizens.

Beloved wife of the late Harry Rater who passed away in 2006. Devoted mother of Harry F. Rater, Jr. and his wife Rebecca. Loving grandmother of Kimberly, Thomas, Caleb and Jacob. Cherished great grandmother of Cassandra and Link. Dear sister of the late Ted, Katherine "Stelle" and Lou Potera. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews in NJ & PA.

Visiting Tuesday 4 – 7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Services Wednesday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
