Julian A. Puchalik, 83, of Wallington, passed away on October 6, 2012. Born in Jasliska, Poland, he came to the US in November 1964, and settled in Passaic before moving to Wallington in 1973. A parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic, Julian was a Machine Operator for Atlantic Can Co. in Passaic for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. Beloved husband for 57 years of Henryka (Kurdyla). Devoted father of Basia Gruca of Pine Brook, Wally of Wallington, Eva Puchalik of Haskell, and Richard and his wife Stacy of Pompton Plains. Dear brother of Zofia Mezglewska in Poland. Loving grandfather of Peter Gruca and his wife Stacy, Daniel Gruca and his wife Donna, and Christian and Max Puchalik. Cherished great grandfather of Steven Gruca and Alexa Sullivan. Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Holy Rosary RC Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
