Julia Sarnecky's Obituary
Julia (Slysz) Sarnecky, 86, of E. Rutherford, passed away on February 18, 2016. Born in Wallington she lived there before moving to East Rutherford in 1962.
Julia was a Registered Nurse at Passaic General Hospital, Passaic, for 28 years, retiring in 1980.
Beloved wife of the late John Richard Sarnecky who passed away in 1982. Devoted mother of Deacon Diane Bielski and her husband Dan of Fraser, Colorado, Susan Czerniak and her husband Robert of E. Rutherford, Karen Serwin and her husband Roland of Pt. Pleasant, and Edith Sarnecky of Parsippany. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Very Rev. Sr. John A. Slysz who passed away in 1997 and the late Sophie Pastula.
Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, Woodland Park. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Holy Cross PNCC, 220 Browertown Rd., Woodland Park, NJ 07424, in memory of Julie, would be greatly appreciated.
