Julia Orlando, 93, of Garfield, passed away on January 5, 2021. Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1952 and lived in Garfield and Paterson, NJ, and Port Richey, Florida. Upon graduation of high school in 1945, Julia attended and completed secretarial school, then graduated from the Bible Institute in Newark, NJ.

Julia liked to laugh.  She was a highly skilled seamstress and tailor.  She also loved the Lord, flowers, chocolate, and sports.  She loved her Yankees and never missed a game.

Beloved wife of the late Liborio Orlando who passed away in 1993. Devoted mother of Liborio "Buddy" Orlando, Jr. and his wife Priscilla of Neptune City, Nitza Cardona and her husband Wilfredo of Port Richey, FL, Edward Orlando of Clifton, Julie Killian of Okmulgee, OK, and the late Ann Josephine Centeno who passed away in 2016. Loving grandmother of Melissa and her husband Shannon Garretson, Philip Orlando and his wife Heather, Nitza Lord and her husband Todd, Wilfred Cardona and his wife Alnaris, Jason Diaz and his wife Wendy, Jovanna Diaz, Javier Solis, the late Jennifer Orlando and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Carmen J. Perez, Jesus Toledo and Rosa Ramos.
