Julia (Dziuba) Debiak, 94, of Sparrow Bush, NY, formerly of Clifton, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in the loving care of her daughter, Mary, at home in Sparrow Bush. Born on January 5, 1920 in Rusinow, Poland, the daughter of the late Jozef and Waleria (Maczka) Dziuba, Julia came to the US in 1949 and lived in Passaic and Clifton for 50 years before moving to NY State in 2000. Julia was a faithful parishioner of both St. John Kanty RC Church in Clifton, and St. Mary's RC Church, Port Jervis. A Hand Baster for M. Ehrenberg & Sons in Passaic for over 30 years, retiring in 1980, Julia had been an active member of the Golden Circle, the Polish Branch of the Rosary Society, and the Loaves & Fishes Pierogi Committee, all at St. John Kanty Church. Beloved wife of the late Stanley who passed away in 1973. Devoted mother of Mary VanStarrex of Sparrow Bush, and her former husband Aubrey Alexander, B. Joseph Debiak and his wife Carolyn of Lenexa, KS, and Thaddeus Debiak and his wife Candace of Tuckahoe, NY. Loving grandmother of Joannie Beaulieu and her husband Jason, Lauren Hannawald and her husband Jeff, Jeffrey Debiak and his wife Cindy Mae Freeman, Monica L. Novomisle and her husband William, Todd Debiak, and five great grandchildren. Dear sister of Josephine Babula of Clifton. Cherished aunt of Mary Kowal of Clifton. Burial of Ashes, July 5, 2014, 9:30 AM at St. Michael's Cemetery, 120 Saddle River Rd., South Hackensack, followed by a Memorial Mass, 11 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, 49 Speer Ave., Clifton, NJ.
