Judith A. Mekita's Obituary
Judith A. (Anema) Mekita, 75, of Clifton passed away on December 17, 2016. Born in Passaic, she lived in Clifton and Passaic all of her life. Judith was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed cross-stitching and needlepoint work.
Beloved wife for 57 years of Stephen. Devoted mother of Stephen, Jr., and his wife Lesia of Greensboro, NC, and Robert and his wife Heidi of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Kimberly, Stephen III, Robert and Kaitlynn. Loving great-grandmother of Bryson and James. Dear sister of William Anema of CO, Thomas Anema of FL, Patricia Rubin of North Haledon, and the late Jean Witenberg and Dorothy Anema.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 4PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation Private. Visiting Tuesday 3-6PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in Judith's memory to the Wallington Presbyterian Church,
9 Bond St., Wallington, NJ 07057, or to a charity of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
