Judith (Pugliese) Klopfer, 83, of Bridgewater passed away on September 13, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. Judith was raised in Irvington, NJ and lived in Union and Bedminster before recently moving to Bridgewater, NJ. She was a bookkeeper for 30 years before retiring. Judith was a bowler, golfer, great cook and baker, an avid reader, and traveler.

Beloved wife for 61 years to Charles Klopfer. Devoted mother of Charles Klopfer, wife Angela, Cathleen Flaherty (nee Klopfer), husband Ed, and Brian Klopfer. Loving grandmother of Christopher Klopfer and wife Sarafina, Maggie Klopfer, Jimmy Flaherty and wife Dani, Carolyn Flaherty and Erin Flaherty.

Judith is preceded in death by sister, Rosemary LaSalle, and is survived by brother, Michael Pugliese.

Judith's favorite role was that of a grandparent. She treasured her time with her grandchildren and loved being their grandma.

Judith's memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those honored to have the privilege of knowing her.

Cremation was private under the direction of Shook Funeral Home in Clifton, NJ. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 10:00am - 11:30am in the chapel at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Judith.
