Juan Ramon Fernandez, 82, of Passaic, passed away on April 27, 2016. Born in Esperanza Villa Clara, Cuba, he came to the US in 1956 and lived in New York before moving to Passaic.
A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, Juan was a Machine Operator for the Greater NY Box Co., Clifton, for 35 years, retiring in 1999, and was an avid Lottery Player.
Beloved husband for 58 years of Melba (Aguilar). Devoted father of Jenesee Fernandez of Passaic, and Maria Valvano and her husband John of Passaic. Loving grandfather of Patrick Fernandez, Brianna and Angelica Valvano.
Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Lodi Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
