Obituary

Juan Ariel Burgos was born on March 28 th , 1952 in Orocovis, PR to Ursulo and Angela Burgos. He was a compassionate man who touched the lives of all. He was a loyal friend always and there to help those in need.

At the age of 19, he moved to Passaic, NJ as an anchor to his family, he shortly bought a house with his father for his parents and siblings to live. It was there where he met his first wife, Olga Estevez. They married on August 2 nd , 1980. Shortly after, his daughter, Mikalitzi, was born in May of 1981. Years later, his second daughter, Sally, was born in October of 1986. Juan Ariel was also known affectionately as "Ary" and was a devoted father who loved his daughters to no end. Ary was always present every step of the way to make sure his daughters were well cared for always. There was no love more grand than the one he had for his family. His importance of family unity was embraced by his daughters. He was also a devoted brother who was always there for his siblings: Miguel, Tito, Blasy, Adal, Wilma, Alida, Soki, and Delia.

In the summer of 2005, he moved to CT after reconnecting with his high school sweetheart, Maggie. The love they shared was abundant as they were together for 17 years. Despite his health conditions throughout the years, he was still a source of inspiration to all. He was a strong, hard-working, humble man who was filled with glimpses of humor saying things such as "Estoy aqui como un coco." A profound sense of humility and humbleness that no one can take away. Ary was filled with positivity; always encouraging everyone around him. He had a heart of gold and was a wonderful example of what a true man should be.

He loved nature, boxing, documentaries of wild animals, romantic ballads, and family gatherings. Ary loved to play dominoes with his family; one of his favorite past times.

Juan Ariel Burgos is survived by his love, Maggie; two daughters, Mika and Sally; two grandchildren, Aletris and Gavin; Maggie and her children and grandchildren, Jenny, Izzy, Manolo, Jay, and Luciana; as well as his beloved brothers and sisters, Delia, Wilma, Alida, Adal, Miguel and Maria (Soki) and many nieces and nephews.
