Jozef Dys, 82, of Garfield, NJ, passed away on May 8, 2018. Born in Poland, he came to the US in 1965 and settled in Garfield. Jozef was a Machine Operator for Bergen Cable Company of Lodi for 6 years before retiring in 2001. Jozef was a parishioner of St. Stanislaw Kostka RC Church and was a long time member of the YMCA and the Association Sons of Poland in Carlstadt.

Beloved husband of the late Maria (Partyka) Dys . Devoted Father of John Dys and his wife Kathleen of North Arlington, and Halina Kaiser and her husband Gregory of Garfield. Loving grandfather of Tara and her husband Daniel, Tricia, Caiden, and Kerrin. Cherished great grandfather of Grace, Alexander and a Baby Boy due in July. Dear brother of Kazimira Wielgo of East Rutherford, and the late Genowefa Drelich.
