Joyce D. Layng's Obituary
Joyce D. Layng, 66, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away on August 19, 2017. Born in Jersey City, she lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Mt. Bethel 5 years ago.
Joyce was the Director of Special Services for the Clifton Board of Education for many years, retiring several years ago. Joyce was also a Psychologist with several private offices in the area and was a member of the National Psychological Association.
Beloved wife of Thomas G. Mattingly. Loving daughter of the late James and Florence (Potocki) Layng. Dear sister of Paul Layng of Clifton.
Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011, www.Alz.org , in memory of Joyce would be greatly appreciated.
