Joyce E. Jakobowski, 78, passed away on November 21, 2023. Joyce was born and raised in Paterson, NJ and has been a resident of Woodland Park for the past 33 years. She was an Administrative Clerk for the Passaic County Superintendent of Elections Office for 35+ years, until her retirement in 2012.

Joyce was predeceased by her beautiful daughter, that God called to be an angel, Dawn Marie, her parents, Leo Henry and Lillian (Gaugler) Jakobowski, her sister Carol Botbyl and her former husband Carmen Liguori. She is survived by her loving son Jim Liguori. Jim and Joyce were not only Mother and Son, but they were best friends. Also survived by her sister, Dorothy, her god-daughter/great-niece Valerie, nieces
Dina and Kristy, nephew Michael, great-nieces Ashley, Mackenzie and Bella as well as great-great nieces Alani, Aliya and Ariyanah.

Joyce also had many extended family and friends which were very close to her. Joyce was loved by her family and friends very much; she would do anything for them. Joyce lived to make others happy. She put others' needs in front of hers. You could always find her crocheting blankets for family, friends and also donating them to hospitals for children. She loved Atlantic City and anything to do with Family. If you were fortunate to have known Joyce, you were very lucky. One can only hope now to see her In Your Dreams.
