Josephine (Wrazen) Wacyra, 89, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2012, of natural causes, at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, holding the hand of her only child, Glenn. Born on 9th St. in Passaic, she was a graduate of Passaic High School, later moving with her family to Wallington in the 1940's. Josephine worked for Curtiss-Wright during the war and married her husband Stanley shortly thereafter. Josephine and Stanley moved to Clifton in 1955 after their son was born. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Josephine was active with the St.John Kanty PTA as well as serving as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts for many years. Josephine was a Secretary for many years at the John Dusenberry Co. on Allwood Rd. in Clifton. After retiring, she was very active in the Wallington AARP, where she was Tour Director with her sister Mary. Beloved wife of the late Stanley who passed away in 1978. Devoted mother of Glenn of Clifton. Loving sister of Mary Koniszewski of Wanaque and Loretta Shagen of Wallington. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
