Josephine Marie (Kwiatek) Kalan, 73, of Clifton passed away on October 6, 2011. Born in Passaic she was a life long resident of Clifton. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Josephine was a Secretary for Popular Merchandising in Passaic for many years, retiring in 2000. An avid camper, Josephine enjoyed gardening, was a "Coupon Queen" and was known by her CB handle as "Coffee Lady". Beloved wife for 53 years of Steven. Devoted mother of Steven Michael and his wife Nora of Clifton and John and his wife Laura of Butler. Loving grandmother of Colleen, Steven, Michelle and Zachary. Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
